Spot Tail Charters primarily fishes out of the McClellanville/ Awendaw area from Buck Hall Landing. However pickups can also be scheduled at the Isle of Palms Marina by request.

• WHAT KIND OF BOAT WILL WE USE?

​

The Boat is a Blackjack 256 Bay powered by a Yamaha 300. She is also equipped with dual power poles, min-kota Ipilot trolling motor, and Garmin electronics. Plus curtains to keep you dry in rough conditions.

• HOW DO I BOOK A TRIP?

To book your charter call (803)-825-1101 or email tony@spottailcharters.com to plan your ideal day on the water. We do require a $200 deposit to reserve your trip.

• WHAT DO I BRING ON MY TRIP?

​

Stick to the necessities. Don’t forget your phone or camera for pictures. Appropriate clothing for current weather conditions, a towel, sunscreen, sunglasses and a hat are very important. Snacks and water will be provided but feel free to bring along any food and beverages you like. We will supply everything you need to fish so there is no need to bring any bait or additional tackle along.

• DO I NEED TO BRING MY OWN TACKLE?

No. All rods, reels bait, and tackle will be provided.

​

• DO I NEED A FISHING LICENSE?

​

No, a fishing license is included in your charter. There is no need for additional licenses.

​

• WHAT DOES THE FISHING CHARTER INCLUDE?

​

Charter includes: fishing licenses, all bait, rods, tackle, water, snacks, and ice.  Packed lunches, specific snacks and drinks are available upon request.

• WHAT IF I NEED TO RESCHEDULE?

​

2 week notice required to retain your deposit.

• WHAT IF THE WEATHER IS UNCERTAIN?

 

Suitable weather to be determined by the captain.
